Studies of Melanated Excellence Part B Course Description
The Studies of Melanated Excellence course helps young scholars develop an understanding of the role and contributions of Melanated people (Black and Brown people) to the growth and development of the United States and world. The course offers young scholars the opportunity to examine the historical significance of ancient Mestizos through present times. The course promotes critical thinking about race, and other systems of difference that shape individual and group interactions, identity, and culture.
