Indigenous People’s Institute Description
The IPI is an affinity group composed primarily of, but not limited to, scholars of Indigenous and Aboriginal heritage. IPI seeks to create a fun and supportive atmosphere, meeting on a regular basis to discuss issues of race and culture in terms of how they affect both Indigenous scholars in particular and WAIE scholars as a whole. Furthermore, the club organizes and supports advocacy and community development opportunities to support the betterment of the Indigenous community.
